About

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Governors State University and my M.A. in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I believe that while life can present unexpected challenges, with the right support and tools, meaningful growth and healing are possible.

My diverse background has fostered a deep appreciation for cultural humility, inclusion, and respect for each person's unique experiences, values, and identity. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood.

With over 12 years of professional experience in social work and mental health, I help adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic stress, and major life transitions. I also specialize in supporting professionals experiencing burnout, individuals navigating career and relationship changes, and parents and caregivers of children with complex medical or developmental needs. Caregiving can be deeply meaningful, but it can also bring chronic stress, grief, and emotional exhaustion. My goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves while balancing the demands of daily life.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and holistic approaches to help clients process difficult experiences, strengthen resilience, and develop practical strategies for lasting change.

I believe that healing begins with understanding ourselvesโ€”our experiences, emotions, and the patterns that shape our lives. Whether you are recovering from trauma, adjusting to a major life transition, or feeling overwhelmed by ongoing stress, I provide a supportive environment where you can gain clarity, build confidence, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
