About

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Governor’s University and my M.A. in Social Work from the University of Illinois. I believe life comes at you fast, and I’m here to give you the tools to adapt to and overcome life’s challenges.

My multifaceted background has instilled in me a deep cultural sensitivity, and respect for diverse values and heritages. In the course of my professional practice I have worked with individuals from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds; I value and celebrate the impact of cultural differences on individuals and society. I am committed to creating a safe space where individuals can experience belonging and acceptance.

I have over 10 years of combined educational and professional experience in social work, counseling, and community engagement. My practice has allowed me to work with many different populations; including working clinically with children and adolescents with special needs, and adults with substance abuse reliance. Additionally, I’ve worked in school communities helping children who struggle academically as well as with adult populations coping with chronic illnesses and diseases. During COVID-19, I provided support and care to vulnerable populations and those with chronic health conditions to improve emotional and mental health.

Through my career I have developed a calling for working with parents and couples who have experienced crises related to childbirth trauma, miscarriage, and infertility. I understand the unique needs of those facing these devastating circumstances, having experienced a difficult journey to motherhood myself, and am passionate about guiding families with compassion and empathy as they navigate these hardships.

I have always held a profound fascination for the human mind, the thoughts and ideas that drive human behavior. It’s what led me to study psychology and earn my degree in social work. No matter the crisis, I believe no one should face trauma alone. I am here to help you throughout your healing journey.
