My Approach

 

Encompassing the big picture of mental health and well-being, our therapy is a comprehensive exploration of your life. In the process of working with Unifying Therapy, we may cover many directions meeting up on one path to a more authentic and healed sense of self. We are experienced in individualized treatment and a holistic approach. 

Often past experiences block our ability to enjoy the present and look to the future with excitement.  With the right support, we can help you process beliefs you have carried about yourself or past situations.  One of the biggest challenges we find as humans is to enjoy the present and hope for the future when focused on roadblocks from the past.  Often past experiences block our ability to enjoy the present and look towards the future. In utilizing EMDR therapy, roadblocks are removed or lessened to pave the way for a healing path.  

One approach does not fit all seeking help and healing in their lives. We find the proven standard of talk therapy is vital. Research has shown stress affects our health in negative ways. Stress is not limited to affecting our physical health but mental health as well. Given this, discussing life challenges, daily stressors, worries, experiences with anxiety and depression are imperative to address but at your speed towards a holistic approach. The purpose is to empower you to take charge of your mental well-being with guidance and care.
